Obituary
Diane Lynn Scott, 63, of Reich St., passed on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Hinkle
Hospice House.
She was born in KanKaKee, Ill. on March 13, 1954, to Olen W. Blackwell and Mayola
Shaw Blackwell. She worked many years for Hollywood Casino as a wardrobe assistant.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael W. Blackwell and
Ronald W. Blackwell.
She leaves to cherish very precious memories her loving husband, Jerry Scott; two
sisters, Sharon Whitt of Ill. and Pamela (Wayne) Walters of Texas and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday at 4:00 pm at North Lexington Baptist Church. The
family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service. Burial will follow
in the church cemetery.
