Obituary
Donnie Gallimore Metcalf, 81, of Davidson County, passed away on January 9, 2025 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on February 2, 1943 to Oscar Gallimore and Linda Grubb Gallimore. Donnie retired from Burlington Industries where she worked diligently for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Larry Metcalf; her parents; and her siblings, Janette "Jan" Fay Metcalf and Ken Gallimore.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard W. Metcalf and Karen LouAnn Metcalf; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Kay Myers; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Donnie will be remembered for her kind heart, her dedication to her family and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.
