Dorothy Inez Smith Roebuck was born in Davidson County on Sept. 7, 1952, to Ed Winston and Mamie Inez Smith Clodfelter. On March 18, 2017, she passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Wednesday from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Elmer Clodfelter and three siblings: Henry L. Smith, Betty Wright and Mable White.

She is survived by her husband, John Thomas Roebuck; two daughters, Dora A. Click and Loretta Y. Roebuck; 7 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister, Virginia Ann Evans; an uncle, Collin McCants; three aunts: Aquilla Sampson, Maurine Burnside and Alfreda Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
