Obituary

Dorothy Eloise Frost Winston, affectionately known as "Dot," was born on June 9, 1950 in Rowan County to John Frost and Vergia Marie Mason Frost. She peacefully passed away at her residence on March 27, 2025.

Dot dedicated many years of service as a bus driver for the Lexington City School System. She was a faithful member of Files Chapel Baptist Church and a proud member of Eastern Star Iris of Love #47.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Leroy M. Winston III, Ronald B. (Shakeia) Winston and Roger S. Winston; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Eddie L. Frost; three sisters: Meritha Anderson, Annie Frost Gwynn and Edith (Charles) Dickerson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Files Chapel Baptist Church, with family visitation beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
