Obituary
Mr. Dwight Caldwell Roberts, 69, of Old Linwood Rd., died Friday, April 12, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral service will be Friday at 1:00pm at Files Chapel Baptist Church with family visitation at 12:30pm. On Saturday a Service of Reflection will be at Jamestown Friends Meeting, 509 Guilford Rd., Jamestown, NC at 1:30pm.
He was born in Davidson County to William C. Roberts and Phebia Ruth Cross Roberts. He retired from the United States Air Force and worked at Advance Auto Parts and was a member of Jamestown Friends Meeting.He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rita S. Roberts; a son, Apostle Dwight (Carrie Ann) Roberts, Jr.; two daughters, Candace Roberts and Phoebe (David) Campbell; three step children: Matt (Rachel) Curry, Jami (Ryan) Gribble and Jill (Jacob) Strenger; a brother, Gary (Sarah) Roberts; two sisters, Patricia (Roy) Holt and Charlotte Roberts; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jamestown Friends Meeting Shelter Fund, P.O. Box 2163, Jamestown, NC 27282.
