Obituary
Earl Smith Garner, 78 of Tussey Rd., died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
He was born on July 14, 1940 in Wayne County to James Garner and Augusta Smith Squires. Earl was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Kevin A. Garner and Eugene Garner.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Teresa G. Shipe of Lexington and JoAnn McCulley of Graham; a son, James E. Garner of Fayetteville; a brother, Elwood Garner; a sister, Mary Alice Chaney; 6 grandchildren: Tyler Shipe, Hannah Shipe, Bryce McCulley, Joshua Garner, Rebecca Garner and Pamela Garner and a great-grandchild, William Zayden Dakota Watts and a host of other relatives and friends.
