Mr. Ed Hardin, Jr., 84, of Yadkin College Rd., died Saturday, December 28, 2019.

He was born in Washington, Georgia to Ed and Mary Hardin, Sr. on August 6, 1935. He retired from Transco Pipeline.He was a faithful member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church and served as a trustee.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beatrice Hardin; his sons, Ed Hardin, III and Allen "Peter" Woodberry, Jr.; a grandson, Bradlon Woodberry and his sibling.

He leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters: Betty L. Hardin, Virginia Keller and Sherry Mason; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Yadkin Star Baptist Church with family visitation at 12 Noon.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
