Edgar Ruben "Eddie" Reyes, 35, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, slipped away from this earthly walk of life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 while at VCU Health in Richmond, Virginia.  He was born on August 26, 1986 in California to Ricardo Reyes and Leonor Romero Zaldivar.

Edgar, affectionately known as "Eddie," was educated in the local California school system.  He was employed as an IT/Programmer with AT&T and he also worked at Starbucks.

He was survived by his parents, Ricardo Reyes and Leonor Romero Zaldivar; two sisters, Natalie Ruiz and Jeanette Reyes; maternal grandfather, Hernando Romero; paternal grandmother, Evangelina Grande and a host of other family and friends.

His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem).  He will be laid to rest in the serenity of Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville, North Carolina.  All extended family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 2:30 P.M.  In every effort to protect our client families, protective facial coverings and social distancing are mandatory requirements.
