Edwanda Francine Valentine Robinson, 59, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at her home. She was born on November 25, 1964 in Axton, Virginia to Bobby Ray and Sarah Jane Valentine.
She was educated in the Henry County School System and attended Laurel Park High School, Martinsville, Virginia. She also attended Gospel Light United Holy Church at an early age and was a youth choir member. She worked at Aramark in Winston-Salem and Adams Market in Winston-Salem for the past 14 years. Her customers LOVED her because she treated everyone like FAMILY. They looked forward to her radiant smile and contagious laugh every day.
Edwanda always wore A Smile regardless of the situation or the pain in her body. She loved having family cookouts and would always be the joy and laughter at the gatherings. She and her nephew Derrell would be the entertainment. She looked out for her children, grandchildren and husband who LOVED her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alexander Valentine and Corey Valentine; daughter, Delisha Valentine; mother, Daisy Valentine; sister-in-law, Carmela Valentine; grandparents: Addie Valentine, William and Nancy Valentine and Peter and Martha Giles; close aunt, Remonia Wilson and a host of other relatives.
Edwanda leaves to cherish her memories, the Love-of-Her-Life & Husband for 23 years, DeWayne Robinson of the home; sons: Markes Valentine (Mary), Charles "CJ" Talbert, Jalen Daniels and Rodney Lewis; daughters, Felita Faison (Devin), Brittany Kellum; daughter/granddaughter, Alicia R. Valentine of the home; special daughter, Chauntese Williams; parents, Sarah Valentine, Bobby Valentine (Elder Ruby); brothers: Bobby Ray Valentine, Brian Coleman, Matthew Martin, Fenix Martin and Artis Martin; sisters: Erika Watkins Coleman (Tyrone); Wanda France; Linda Simmons (Donovan), Margaret Woods (Gerrod), Charity Keen, Debra Johnson, Michelle Epps (Roger), Lanora Weaver (Victor); three special nephews: Derrell Valentine (Tiffany), Kenay Eaton, Jr., Noah Johnson and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with visitation at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
