Mr. Edward "Bud" Fortune, 80, of Edna St., passed on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Hinkle Hospice House.

The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at House of Prayer for All People with visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born August 19, 1935, to Roy Little and Lillie Mae Fortune in Union County. He was a faithful member of House of Prayer for All People and retired from LFI after 45 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ada F. Creamer and Edna Fortune who was his twin and a great-grandson, Christopher Eason.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Lilly M. Fortune; four sons, Curtis (Maria) Eason, Pastor Kenneth (Barbara) Eason, Jerome (Pam) Eason and Leslie Eason; two daughters, Maggie Hargrave and Trudy (Will) Thomas; a sister, Virginia (John) Gillespie; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
