Mrs. Effie Marshall Dove, 100, passed Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Brookstone Retirement Center.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:30am at Files Chapel Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service.Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00pm-7:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born in Anson County to Sanders "Boge" Marshall and Laura Martin Marshall on November 21, 1918. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries. She was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Lee Thomas Marshall, Rufus Marshall, Herbert Marshall and Billie Marshall; and two sisters, Bessie Holt and Hattie Walser.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Brenda Marshall of Greensboro; one brother, Joe Cephus Marshall and his wife Belle of Brooklyn, N.Y. three grandchildren , six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
