Mr. Elmer Jones, 87, of Lowe Dr., died Friday, July 24, 2020 at Mt. Vista Health Park. He was born in Avery County on November 28, 1932 to the late Raymond Jones and Sally Hinkle Jones.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

He leaves to cherish his memory five children: Rickie Jones, Larry (Kay) Jones, Damon (Lisa) Jones, Debbie (Bill) Weaver and Teresa (Lewis) Smith; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Vista Health Park, 106 Mt. Vista Health Park Rd., Denton, NC 27239.
