Mother Emma Jane Greer, 83, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, answered the call of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Trellis Supportive Care - Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born April 14, 1939 in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Fred William Greer and Irene Tuttle Greer.

Emma received her formal education from the local school system. During her life she was employed in the service industry as an housekeeper with Service Master.

Preceding her death were her parents: Fred William Greer and Irene Tuttle Greer.; sister, Lillian Lindsay; and son, Barry Greer

Left to cherish her memories are her two children: son, John Wayne Greer (Debbie) and daughter, Twilla Greer; devoted cousin, Sadie Tuttle; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Her life will be celebrated 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church with family visitation at 12:30 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem).
