Eric Lash, an HVAC tradesman and life-long resident of Winston-Salem, NC, died unexpectedly on February 3, 2021 at the age of 47.He received his education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System where he was a graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1991, and a member of the Men's basketball team.He was the oldest of four children.

He was preceded in death by his beloved baby boy, True Reign Lash (Sandy Ridge, NC); his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Pearl Lash (Winston-Salem), one aunt and three uncles.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory, six children: Brianna Carter of Greenville, NC, Destiny Lash, Justice Lash, Chance Lash, Jace Lash and Tristin Lash;his parents, Kathy (Nashid) Rahmaan of Kernersville, NC; siblings: Jamie (Jermaine) Algood of Belews Creek, NC, Fareed (Sylvia) Rahmaan of Kernersville, NC and Na'im Rahmaan of Upper Marlboro, MD; nieces and nephews: Jermaine Algood Jr, Jailynn Algood, Na'im Rahmaan II, Jai'juan Algood, Amir Rahmaan, Ja'Niya Algood and Ibrahim Rahmaan; his life partner, Amber Martin of Sandy Ridge, NC; a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. at Mt. Gur Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel.In accordance with Covid-19 social distancing protocols, all guests are required to wear a face mask.
