Ernstine Young, 66, of Meredith Ave., departed this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.She was born April 11, 1952 in Davidson County to Robert Leo Young and Nancy Baucum Young.

Ernstine attended Righteous Church of God.She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Robert Young, Jr. and Clarence Miller and a sister, Annie Worthy.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her children, Stacey (Sandra) Young and June Young-Bishop; her mother, Nancy Young; an adopted daughter, Tammy (Bobby) Gills; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Steve Young; three sisters: Wilma Broadie, Veloa Davis and Debbie Young; a devoted nephew, Macon Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday at Righteous Church of God at 11:00am with family visitation at 10:30am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
