Ethel Friday Williams, 75, of N. Pine St., passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Hinkle Hospice House.

She was born on October 3, 1942 to James Kelly Friday, Sr. and Mary Lee Reder Friday in Davidson County. She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church, serving on the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy William; two brothers, James K. Friday, Jr. and Norman R. Friday and a sister, Peggy F. Hairston.

She leaves behind her three brothers: Raymond C. Friday, Delmont (Debbie) Friday and Thomas C. (Tammy) Friday; a sister, Mary F. McCauley; an aunt, Adelaid F. Talbert and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at Union Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. Public viewing will be Monday from 1-7pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
