E'Yanesha Yvonne Reid, 43, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025 (her birthday). She was born on August 18, 1982, in Lexington, North Carolina to the late Danny and Shirley Bryant Reid.

E'Yanesha graduated from Lexington Senior High School in 1999 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Accounting from Shaw University. For the past 12 years, she built a successful career at Wells Fargo, most recently serving as a Lead Control Management Officer.

The greatest joy of E'Yanesha's life was her first and only true love, her daughter, Chandler Reid. Chandler was not only her "Mini Me" but also her best friend, and their bond was unbreakable. Every part of E'Yanesha's life was guided by her love and devotion to Chandler.

Known for her radiant personality and generous spirit, E'Yanesha had a passion for fashion and a love for travel. Her love language was giving; she found joy in spoiling her daughter, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews with thoughtful gifts and unwavering affection. She was devoted to caring for others and was happiest when surrounded by her family, whom she loved fiercely.

E'Yanesha was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Danny Reid; her maternal grandparents, Carl Bryant Sr. and Rosie Bryant; and her paternal grandfather, James Reed.

She leaves behind her daughter, Chandler Reid of Lexington, NC; her sisters, Rashanda (Mario) Harris of Greensboro, NC, Nanyamka (Arnold) Fowler of Winston-Salem, NC and Danielle Reid of Twentynine Palms, CA; paternal grandmother Sarah Reid of Lexington, NC as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

E'Yanesha's life was a beautiful reflection of love, generosity and joy. Though her time here was far too short, her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew and loved her.

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be conducted on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) with moments of visitation at 12:30 PM prior to the service. All are asked to join the family for a repast immediately following the service at A&M Memorial Park, 310 Wilfred Avenue, Lexington, North Carolina.
