Frank S. Henderson, 77, of Ellington Ave., passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church on Village Dr. with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.

Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00–7:00p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

Frank was born November 25, 1939 to John and Drucilla Owens Henderson. He served in the United States Army and retired from Lexington Police Department. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: John Jr., Charlie, Owens, Baxter and Raymond Henderson and three sisters: Margaret Henderson, Elizabeth Leverette and Irene Hargrave.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Elizabeth T. Henderson; two sons: Brian T. Henderson and Ruben L. (Alina) Henderson; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Henderson and Harvey Henderson; a sister, Louise Owens; five sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
