On November 3, 1935 in Washington, Georgia, God blessed Daisy Mae Calloway Jones with her only child, Frankie Mae Calloway Hearst. On January 19, 2022 Frankie Mae passed away at her residence.
She attended Union Baptist Church and retired from Lexington Home Brand. You could find Mrs. Frankie Mae in Roses Department Store or the Goodwill during the day after she retired. You could always find that burgundy car sitting in her favorite spots around Lexington as she chatted with people on a daily basis.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Joe Hearst and a son, Willie Joe Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Carolyn (Foster Smith) Vinson-Smith, AB Calloway, Stanley (Sabina) Zeller, Dennis Zeller and Vickie Wall; 17 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday at South Lexington City Cemetery at 2:00pm.
