Frankie Mozelle Holmes Smith, age 104, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Alston Brook Rehabilitation.

Frankie was born to Frank Holmes and Fannie Lindsay Holmes, October 25, 1913. Frankie was a very active member of Southmont First Baptist Church, serving as a Deaconess, choir member, Youth Choir Advisor, member of the Kitchen Committee, Missionary Member, Pastor's Aide member and the supplier of the church's homemade Communion wine.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frankie was preceded in death by five brothers: Marshall, Herb, Forrest, Theodore, Sr., and David; two grandsons, Johnny and Winfred "Butch" Jr.; one nephew, Theodore, Jr. and a great grandson, Emanuel.

Left to cherish her priceless memories are her daughters, Irene Pickett, Fannie (Winfred) Hines; grandchildren: Robert (Lori), Deborah (J.W) and Diane (Alfred), all of Lexington and Alvin (Consuelo) of N.Y., 8 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; 3 great-nieces and 3 great-great nieces and a very special friend/relative,Tony Giles.

Homegoing service will be Monday, December 4, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Southmont First Baptist Church with family visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
