Fred William Holt, Sr., 93, was born May 10, 1925, in Davidson County to John Clifford Holt and Addie Simmons. He passed on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his residence.

He was a member of New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center where he served as a Deacon, member of the usher board and men's choir. He retired from the City of Lexington.

Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eva Moore Holt; a son, John A. Moore and a daughter, Nellie Rogers.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Fred (Susan) Holt, Jr.; a daughter, Barbara Fowler; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Kate Wiley and Ella Mae Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Sunday, February 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center with family visitation at 1:30. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. Public viewing will be Saturday from 1:00-6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
