Freda Jo “Jody” Sink was born on August 11, 1966, to Fred C. Sink and Leona Owens Sink. Jody passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Jody was formerly employed with the Guilford County Clerk of Court. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served as a Communion Assistant.

Jody enjoyed karaoke, spending time with her family, and cooking. Among her favorite dishes to prepare were lasagna and banana pudding. She also treasured the time she spent with her friends at the Winston-Salem Elks Lodge #449.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. Sink and Leona Owens Sink.

Jody leaves to cherish her memory her son, William (Amanda) Davis; three sisters, Susan Brown, Kim Sink, and Holly Poarch; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jan and Eddie Kiesser, Brenda Hunt, and Jeonine and Gary Sink for their kindness, care, and support.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of St. Luke Lutheran Church. A Service of Remembrance will follow in the church at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Lexington, North Carolina, in loving memory of Freda Jo “Jody” Sink.
