Mr. Fredric Jordan Avery, 79, of Fox Run Trail, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 24, 1939 to Jacob Avery and Jean Abrams. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Susan M. Avery; a son, Todd (Stayci) Avery; a daughter, Abigail Settle and her fiance, James Brewer; a sister, Judy (Sidney) Mark;eight grandchildren: Sydni, Taylor, Cameron, Alana, Griffin, Layla, Cheyenne and Logan; a special niece, Stacey Mark; mother-in-law, Gilda Brown; father-in-law, Willard (Sharron) Moody; his service dog, Jackie and a host of other relatives and friends.
No service is planned.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saving Grace K9, 314 East Center St., Lexington, NC 27292 or Davidson County Animal Shelter, 490 Glenn Rd., Lexington, NC 27292.
