Gabriel Amaad McCurdy was born to Sherry McCurdy and the late Timothy Overton on September 5, 1987 in Thomasville, North Carolina. He attended Thomasville City Schools and later received his GED. His passion was to become a truck driver, and he made that dream a reality on November 30, 2016. He enjoyed listening to music, sports, traveling, video games and shopping. If you ever saw him, you were guaranteed to see him in a hat with a joke to go along with it. His jovial spirit will truly be missed.



He is survived by his three children: Jayden McCurdy, Briel McCurdy and Brennon Gloor; his mother, Sherry McCurdy; his sister, Chasity McCurdy; his brothers, Tyler Jones and Chanselor King; his mother and father through Christ, Mary and Charlie Dow; his sisters through Christ: Kim Gilmore, Casandra Dow, Crystal Dow, Kiara Dow, and a host of other relatives and friends.
