Mr. Gary Demitrick Bussey, 51, of Northside Dr., passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Monday, March 26 at 3:00pm at First Assembly of God with family visitation a half hour before the service. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 1-6pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born on July 28, 1966 in Newark, New Jersey to Frank D. Bussey and Cora Bohannon Bussey. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Artis Jackson and Gerald Jackson and a sister, Linda Jackson Wakefield.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 23 years, Danette Bussey of the home; his mother, Cora Bussey of the home; a brother, Frank (Rogernee) Bussey of Tracy, Calif.; his mother-in-law, Emma Chavis; an uncle, Clarence Bussey of Lexington; two aunts, Sarah Leverett of Lexington and Paula Bohannon of High Point and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
