Mr. Gary Eugene Leonard, 51, of Leonard Ln., passed Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Brooks Temple UMC with visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1-8pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born in Davidson County on August 17, 1963 to Henry Ivan Leonard and Lena Mae Tuttle Leonard.He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his father.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lena Leonard of the home; two daughters, Chloe Craven of Lexington and Tonia Moore of Midway; two brothers, Robert (Emma) Leonard and Vernon (Tamika) Leonard; five sisters, Wanda Peebles, Pracilla Leonard, Earlene Leonard, Martha King and Cammie (Bruce) Smith; a grandchild, Kenlei Oliverand a host of other relatives and special friends.
