Gene Kelly Melton, 75, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born on March 26, 1949 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Jack Melton and Irene Pope Melton.

Gene worked at the Truck Stop in Mocksville and was known for his hard work and dedication. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Doris Leonard Melton; three sons: Dusty Timothy Leonard, Gene Melton and Travis Shane Melton; two daughters, Amanda Coleman and Crystal Gail Leonard; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Moment of Sharing will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Service.
