Obituary
Mr. Gerald David Jackson, 68, of Northside Dr., passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
He was born in Davidson County on October 22, 1949 to Otis Jackson and Cora Bohannon Bussey. He served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his father; step father, Frank D. Bussey; his son, Darnell Jackson; a brother, Artis Jackson and a sister, Linda Jackson Wakefield.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Darnita Jackson and Jermanine Jackson both of New Jersey; his mother, Cora Bussey of the home; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two brothers, Gary (Danette) Bussey of the home and Frank (Rogernee) Bussey of Tracy, Calif.; an uncle, Clarence Bussey of Lexington; two aunts, Sarah Leverett of Lexington and Paula Bohannon of High Point and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be Saturday at First Assembly of God at 12:00 Noon with family visitation at 11:30. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
