Gerry Oliver Belcher, 55, departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
He was born February 10, 1960, to Charlie Belcher and Florence Flemmings.
Memorial service will be Monday, November 16, 2015, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4129 Northampton Drive at 11:30 a.m. with family visitation a half hour prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Nathan Scovens will be the eulogist.
Gerry, "Buff Daddy" as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and was a graduate of North Forsyth High School. Gerry touched the hearts of all who loved and knew him. He had a great sense of humor and you could count on him for advice or a long conversation about Ford cars. He gave to those who needed money and fed anyone who was hungry. Gerry was the owner/operator of Belcher Enterprise, a dream which he brought to fruition. He was a devout church goer and loved the Lord. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Florence Flemmings; father Charlie Belcher; three sons: Nicholas Rowdy, Dominick Rowdy, Michael Belcher; two daughters: Nicole (John) Rhinehardt, Steffany Belcher; two brothers: Wayne (Joan) Belcher, Sr., Gregory Ingram; four sisters: Gail (James) Berry, Veronica Belcher, Lynda Watson, Charlene Belcher; three grandchildren: Kai Rhinehardt, Kennedie Rhinehardt, Khloe Rhinehardt and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
