Gregory Dexter Mabry's Obituary
Gregory Dexter Mabry, Sr. was born in Davidson County to Arthur Mabry, Sr. and Vedis Lucille Dickerson Mabry on August 1, 1957. On Tuesday morning, January 4, 2022 Dexter exchanged time for eternity.
Dexter graduated from West Davidson High School and retired from PPG Ind. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William C. Mabry.
Dexter leaves to cherish his fondest memory, his sons: Gregory (Kellee) Mabry, Jr., Derrick Burns, Ajalan Pomare and Michael Harris; significant other of many years, Gloria Rivera; four brothers: Arthur (Charlene) Mabry, Jr., Elbert (Carolyn) Mabry, Franklin Mabry and Norman Smith; four sisters: Jessie (Ray) Friday, Nita (Gary) Allen, Belinda (Dennis) Kelly and Vivian (Dwayne) Ingram; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at New Zion Baptist Church at 1:00pm with family visitation at 12:30. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
