Mr. Harry Andrews, 84, the son of the late Willie Andrews and Minnie Fortune Andrews, was born on October 28, 1940 in Lynchburg, SC and departed this life on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Harry attended the local Lee County Public Schools and was a member of Greenbay Missionary Baptist Church in Lynchburg, SC. He had a heart for servitude and served God's people as a deacon at St. John Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC. Although Harry understood the necessity and foundation of his faith, his greatest joy came as a hardworking and caring son, brother, father, grandfather and husband. Mr. Harry gave his time and talents to RJ Reynolds as a Machine Operator and retired after 33 years of dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Darian "Nutt" Andrews, Sr.

He leaves to reflect and share his memories, his wife and loving caregiver, Linda Bruton Andrews; two children, Harriett Andrews and Dorian Bruton, Sr.; nine grandchildren: Gelena, Ke'lena, Darina, Darian, Jr., Kyndal, Dorian, Jr., Sade, Fayela and London; 14 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren: Kingston and Royaltii Andrews; four sisters: Christine McDonald, Ella Mae Laws, Thomasenia Kennedy and Rose Mary of Lynchburg, SC; one brother, Willie Andrews; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who were all dear to his heart; and a church family whose loyalty showed until the very end.

His life will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at St. John Baptist Church with visitation at 11:30 AM prior to the service. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will take place privately at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
