Mrs. Helen O. Hargrave, 90, of NC Hwy 8, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Pineridge Skilled Nursing.

Homegoing service will be Saturday at 4:00pm at First Baptist Church, Southmont with family visitation at 3:30pm.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born November 11, 1928 in Davidson County to John and Daisy Owens. Helen retired from Dixie Furniture Plant 1 and was a member of First Baptist Church, Southmont and served on the missionary circle, Deaconess Board and was a usher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Preston Hargrave.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter, Bettina Hargrave Young of the home; two grandchildren, Michael (Nikki) Young of Newport News, Va. and Samara (James) Fitzgerald of Baltimore, Md;six great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
