Helen Leak Taylor, 79, of the Midway Community, passed away on April 13, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.

Helen was born January 11, 1942 in Davidson County to Robert Lee Leak, Sr. and Ethel Mae Leonard Leak.She was a member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Hollis Leak, Henry Leak and Johnson Leak and two sisters, Glennie Mae Tuttle and Edna Lorraine Leak.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Timothy Wayne Taylor of Midway; two daughters, Debbie (Robert) Bennett of Midway and Iris (Tim) Wilborn of Winston Salem; five grandchildren: Tinesha Taylor, Maurikus Bennett, Tonio Lindsay, Dominque Mitchelland Kyla Wilborn; three great-grandchildren: Kayden Mitchell, Ivy Bennett, and Abel Hope; four sisters: Grace Huntley of Midway, Arvella (Alonzo) Tuttle of Thomasville, Inetta Pecola Lattimore and Henrietta Fay Owens of Lexington; a brother, Robert Lee (Brenda) Leak Jr.of Midway and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends.A special friend, Lula Debose and a special cousin, Linda Thomas.

A private service will be Monday with a walk thru visitation from Noon to 1:00pm at Brooks Temple United Methodist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Public viewing will be Sunday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
