Mrs. Helen Mildred Baldwin Wright, 78, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was born in Randolph County on May 11, 1944 to Robert Baldwin and Ethel Mae Cassidy Baldwin.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Helen worked at Duracell Battery and later became a CNA. She enjoyed taking the dogs for walks, watching tv, especially the Hallmark and western channels. Helen always enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie James Wright; her daughter, Cherriece Wright; three brothers: Bobby Baldwin, Johnny Wayne Baldwin and Gary Baldwin and two sisters, Betty Davis and Pearley Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Tiffanty Jerome Baldwin of Lexington; two daughters, April Baldwin of Lexington and Angela Baldwin of Durham; two granddaughters, Domonique Baldwin and Khiesa Baldwin both of Lexington; three brothers: Charles Ray Baldwin of Asheboro, Lewis (Beverly) Baldwin of Seagrove and Richard Baldwin of Asheboro; five sisters: Nancy Lowdermilk of Asheboro, Carolyn Gaines of Asheboro, Juanita McNeair of Lexington, Patricia Wright of Lexington and Shirley Ann (Gary) Davis of Robbins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Viewing will be Saturday at Roberts Funeral Service from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Memorial service will be Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
