Mr. Henry Lonzo Terrell, 81, of the Midway Community, transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Lonzo, as he was known by many, was born December 14, 1940 in Davidson County to Daniel Terrell, Sr. and Drusilla Smith Terrell. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Betty Louise Brown, Helen Bush "Nell" Troutman and Libby Bertha "Tootsie" Nixon; two brothers, Carl Alexander and Daniel Terrell, Jr and a brother-in-law, James William Hairston.

Uncle Lonnie, as his nieces and nephews would call him, was educated in the Lexington City School System. He worked at Young & Hinkle Furniture, Hudson Plant and retired from Smurfit-Stone Container, serving 20 years.

Henry was a lifelong member of Righteous Church of God. Before his health declined, he was a faithful trustee and devotional leader.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Bettie Lou Young Terrell; a devoted son and caregiver, Lorenzo Terrell; son, Henry Terrell, Jr.; a daughter, Cherie Terrell; a beloved grandson, Jordan McRae; a sister, Lula Mae Hairston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
