Mr. Henry Lee "Bill" Thomas, 75, died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Winston-Salem. Mr. Thomas will lie in state from 10:00am until 12:30pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gates of Zion Worship Center Cemetery. A public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service, Lexington.

He was born January 25, 1945 in Davidson County to Roby C. Thomas and Odallia Lindsay Thomas.He retired from RJ Reynolds and was a member of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sonya Sanders-Neal; a brother, James Andrew Thomas and sister, Mary T. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Rachel Pate Thomas of the home; four daughters: Evangelist Antoine (Elder Stanley) Johnson, Sha'Donna Thomas, Minister Kimberly (Pastor Dorian) Hamilton and Pasha Leonard; a son, Van (Joyce) Leonard; four sisters: Bernice Tuttle, Donnice (Clifton) Lindsay, Linda Smith and Elizabeth A. (Luther) Jones; a brother, Anthony B. Roberts; ; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
