Mr. Hezekiah James, Jr., 58, of Winston-Salem, transitioned from this earthly walk of life into eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Guilford Health Care in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Hezekiah was June 30, 1960 in Dunn, North Carolina.Hezekiah was a very beloved brother, uncle and friend.Hezekiah, affectionately known as "June," was a ball of fun and excitement.He was well known for his mild manners and always willing to lend a helping hand.Jr. loved to attend church and he surely knew the Lord.You could see him on any Sunday…waiting with his bible.

Hezekiah was self employed; he enjoyed doing lawn work.He took pride in his work.Despite so many obstacles in his life, he lived his best life.He lived beyond the standards of society.

A Celebration of his Life will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 from the chapel of Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem.The family visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until the hour of service at 3 p.m.; the family will greet and receive friends at that time.His remains shall lie in repose for public viewing 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel.
