Obituary
Mr. Isiah "Zeke" Sturdivant, 85, of Confederate St., died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Union Baptist Church with family visitation at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
He was born in Stanley County to Martin Sturdivant and Lois Kirby Sturdivant. He served in the United States Army and did radio and television repairs. He was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Deloris Sturdivant; three brothers: Paul Sturdivant, Thomas Sturdivant and Frank Little and four sisters: Nezzie Causey, Maxine Sturdivant, Ollie Little and Sara Little.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Betty F. Sturdivant; three daughters: Carolyn Sturdivant, Patricia Kennedy and Diane Flores; three step children: Angie Small, Frank Brown and Minister Keith (Marcella) Brown; a sister, Jean Robinson; 8 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
