Jacqueline Pickett Johnson, 62, of Mary Carter Dr. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church Southmont with family visitation a half hour before the service.Burial will follow in the Pickett Family Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1-8pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born in Davidson County to Mary Lee Pickett and K.C. Wise on June 13, 1952.She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Southmont.She worked for Dixie furniture for over 25 years and was last employed at First Baptist Church Community Child Care Center.She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, King Charles Wise Jr. and a sister, Lou Ann Walser.

She is survived by her two children, Tabetha (Joe) Haverkamp of Glen Allen, VAand Gordon A. Vaughters of Lexington; a sister, Dianna Davis of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
