James E. Drummond, 53, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church Village Dr. with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born August 5, 1963 in Davidson County to James Drummond Sr. and Mary Louise Curry. He was a member of Meeting Room Baptist Church, Thomasville, NC. He was employed at Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors.

James was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Terry Drummond.

He leaves to cherish memories, his mother, Mary L. Curry; his companion, Mattie Loretta Hunter; a son, James June Drummond; two daughters, Tywan Drummond and Kesha Henderson who was very devoted; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, Alexander Gilbert and Stacy Bradley; a sister, Marla Bradley; an uncle, Willie J. Curry; two aunts, Margaret Drummond and Odessa Gaither and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
