James John Eller, son of John Eller and Bonnie Smith, was born June 13, 1940, in Davidson County. He entered into eternal rest November 24, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House.

The funeral service will be Friday, November 27, 2015, at 12:30pm at Freedom Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

John was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church and retired from Ryder Integrated Logistics. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry Eller and Dick (Julie) Eller.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Sherry Ray Eller; two sons, Johnny (Kendall) Eller and Michael (Audra) Ray; three daughters, Susie (Sonny) Poole, Darla Eller, Cindy(John) Pounds; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy G. (Vicki) Eller; a sister, Bonnie Ray (Jimmy) King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
