James Leroy Jordan passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born August 17, 1966 in Davie County to Samuel Jackson Jordan and Lizzie Ola Hairston Jordan.

He worked for Ingersall Rand for 20 years and Dixie Plant #1 for 15 years. James was a former member of Goodwill Baptist Church.

James leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Samuel J. Jordan and Lizzie Ola Jordan; his son, Isaiah Norman; his fiancé, Anita Nesby; a brother, Paul Hairston; a sister, Karen (Curtis) Hargrave; a nephew, Tyler Hairston; two aunts, Mary E. Threadgill, Daisy McCandies and Virginia Hairston; an uncle, Loyal Clement and a host of cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Friday at Yadkin Star Baptist Church at 2:00pm with family visitation at 1:30pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
