James Martin, III, 40, better known as "Widehead," passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023.

He was born in Guilford County to James Nance and Diane Martin on September 16, 1982. He was educated in the Lexington City School System. James was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father.

Widehead leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Diane Martin; a son, Jymarion Martin; two daughters, Naziya Martin and Nazariyah McCalf; a brother, David Martin (Jaquesha Martin); two nieces, Deasia Martin and Ava Martin; five aunts: Dolores Martin, Gloria Nance, Mary Nance, Deb Nance and Darlene Nance; four uncles, Barry Martin, Harold Lomax, Robert Lee Nance, Kenny Good and Johnny Nance and a host of other cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Full Deliverance Outreach Center with family visitation at 12:30pm.
