James Clarence Talford, 61, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by his family.
James was born to J. C. Jackson and Maudaree Talford on February 8, 1957 in Rowan County, NC.
James was a member of Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance until his health would no longer allow. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. His hands found work at AutoZone.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharita Talford and a sister, Sheila Godfrey.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Felecia Rawlinson Talford of the home; three sons:Jamel Leach of Lake City, FL, Topaze Rawlinson of San Diego, CA, Renaldo Rawlinson of Gastonia, NC; two daughters, Dekima Leach of Lake City, FL, Ciarra Talford of Winston-Salem, NC; step-mother, Mary L. Helig of Salisbury, NC; four brothers: Andrew Threadgill, Johnathon Christopher Helig, James Helig, Harold Helig all of Salibury, NC; four sisters: Juanita Threadgill, Lillian Threadgill, Joyce Simpson all of Salisbury, NC and Debra Helig of Atlanta, GA; 16 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Homegoing service will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance, 4951 Manning St, Winston-Salem, NC with family visitation beginning at 12 p.m.The service of Committal and Interment will take place in Oakdale Cemetery at a later date. Public viewing will be today from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Roberts, Winston-Salem Chapel.
