God in his infinite wisdom called our dearest Jamya Marie Rios to her Heavenly and Eternal home on Monday, July 12, 2021.Jamya was born on October 2, 2007 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. She was a special gift of love to her parents, Elvin and the late Frances Rios.

Jamya was a loving child who had a sweet spirit and beautiful smile. An eighth grader at East Rowan Middle School, she enjoyed dancing, hanging out with her friends, but most of all, hanging out with her mother who was her best friend.She enjoyed making music videos and sharing them with family and friends. She had a big heart and loved caring for others. Let's not forget that she was a "Diva" just like her mother and you could oftentimes find them "Twinning"!

Not even death itself can deprive us of Jayma's memory. We will always remember the timeswe laughed, cried and just enjoyed her company for the last 13 years. Her loving smile and gentle spirit will be remembered by: her loving father, Elvin Rios; sister, Anfri G. Rios; maternal grandparents, Louise Dewalt and Gordon L. Gaithers; an aunt, Mary Marie Rios; uncles, Rodney Dewalt, Mickey Dewalt, Kevin (Tierra) Dewalt, Rocky Dewalt, Drrick Dewalt; and a host of cousins and countless friends.

Public viewing for Frances Dewalt Rios and Jamya Marie Rios will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Roberts Chapel.

The funeral Service will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a scholarship established in memory of Jamya Rios at her middle school;North Rowan Middle School, Spencer, North Carolina.
