Janie Marie Pettigrew Bass, 90, of Winston-Salem, NC, slipped away to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Oaks of Forsyth.

She was born July 22, 1928 to the late Andrew Vernon Davis and Annie Mae Matthews in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

A Service of Love reflecting her life will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from the chapel of Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem. The family visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service at 11:30 a.m.The family will greet and receive friends at that time.Her frame shall be coached to Evergreen Cemetery for earthly rest.

Her mortal frame shall lie in repose Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel for public viewing.
