Jennifer Ann Mason was born January 10, 1968 in Rowan County to the late SM Jordon, Sr. and Bertha Mason Hairston. Jennifer passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her residence.

Jennifer was educated in the Davie County School System. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years. Mrs. Mason was a member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: Coy Jordon, SM Jordon, Jr. and Eric Mason; two sisters, Minnie Lou Jordon and Josephine Holmes and her soul mate, James Brown.

Jennifer leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Shavonya D. Mason, Kentrell L. Mason and Alfonzo S. (Miranda) Mason; a special bonus daughter, Sammatha Swin; eight grandchildren; a brother, Samuel (Lizola) Jordon; two sisters, Mary E Threadgill and Daisy McCandies; a special friend, Jeff Charles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Sunday at Yakking Star Baptist Church at 3:30pm with family visitation at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Saturday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
