Mrs. Jessie Mae Smith Mason, 80, of Hoover Dr., died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00am at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel.Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

She was born July 5, 1940 in Cleveland County to Will Smith and Lena Jefferies Smith. She retired from Stanley Furniture.She was a member of First Baptist Church, Village Dr. and served on the kitchen committee, usher board and was a Deaconess.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mason.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Robert (Tonya) Freeman and Jimmy (Lisa) Freeman; three daughters: Sherry (Archie) Patterson, Pama Thomas and Tonda Shaw; a sister, Christine Lattimore; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
