With hearts full of gratitude and faith in God's promise, we reflect on and honor the life of Jimmie Lee Arnold, who was called from labor to reward and entered into our Father's heavenly home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the age of 76.
Jimmie was born on July 6, 1949, in Davie County, North Carolina, and was the son of the late Beatrice Arnold Clement. Though he has departed from our sight, he remains forever present in the hearts of those who loved and admired him.
He received his education in the Davie County Public School System and was a 1967 graduate of Central Davie Training School in Mocksville, North Carolina. A man who believed in staying active and engaged, Jimmie was never idle and was always willing to lend his time and talents wherever needed.
A devoted man of faith, Jimmie worked faithfully in his church and community. He served as a deacon and choir member at Fairfield Baptist Church prior to its restructuring and renaming as Harvest United Fellowship Church. He took great joy in attending church, servicing in leadership, and lifting his voice in song.
Jimmie worked for many years as a mechanic at J&A Garage, earning a reputation for dependability and a willingness to help others. He later ventured out to establish his own automobile business, continuing to serve family, friends and members of the community with the same reliability and care.
