Obituary
Jimmy Martell Knotts, 65, of Poplar St., died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his residence.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at South Lexington City Cemetery at 11:00am.
He was born November 22, 1955 in Davidson County to James and Mary Jowers Knotts. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: James R. Knotts, Michael Knotts and Craven Knotts and a sister, Faye K. Dye.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Nikita Vinson and Mary Johnson; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren;two sisters, Cora Saunders and Linda (Thomas) Martin; two brothers, Donald (Eloise) Knotts and Stephen (Carmen) Knotts and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
